Eagle Bay is in near proximity to Warsaw, Lincoln and Cole Camp Missouri Lincoln and Warsaw have basically merged together along US 65 highway in an hourglass configuration.
Lincoln has a medical clinic 10 minutes away. Warsaw is south of Lincoln and has a fully modern hospital.
21 miles north from Lincoln on US 65 is Sedalia, Mo., with a population of 22,000 Sedalia is located at the intersection of US 65 and US 50. The population is very blue collar with manufacturing along with rail and truck distribution. Sedalia has everything you can find in Kansas City (which is 70 miles west) but with a small town atmosphere.
Since Sedalia Hosted the first Missouri State Fair in 1901, thousands of Missouri families have made the annual “pilgrimage” to Sedalia. The Missouri State Fair is a permanent campus located along US 65 in central Sedalia. Despite numerous differences, the Fair exhibitors of 1901 & today share an important common element. That common denominator is competition – the desire to put your efforts against your neighbor's best. Every August you will find a large midway and carnival. There is live music and entertainment at the grandstand exhibits and competitions of every kind.
The Missouri State Fair location is also home to State Fair Community College a large junior college best known for its nursing school. There are two large school systems and Bothwell Hospital a large full service hospital serving an area from Lake of the Ozarks North to I-70 and South to Bolivar.
Sedalia is the county seat of Pettis County, the adjacent county to the North of Benton County where Eagle Bay is located on the 78 mile marker of Lake of the Ozarks.
Sedalia is the center of all of the surrounding smaller communities in a 40 mile radius. Sedalia is on the River Runner route of Amtrak which runs from downtown KC to downtown St Louis.
Warsaw is the County seat of Benton County. Warsaw has oddly a section of Lake of the Ozarks, Truman Dam and Truman Lake all within its city limits. Warsaw has a highly rated school system. It has a population of 4,000. The school system would include the rural and the much smaller surrounding towns.
Sedalia is 21 miles north of Lincoln on US 65, 70 miles east of KC, and 13 miles South of I-70.
Midway between Sedalia and KC on 50 highway is Warrensburg a state college town with a population of 12,000 and it is home to the University of Central Missouri with 15,000 students. UCM is known for teaching and law enforcement.
Sedalia has a very diverse job market. The largest sectors represented would be manufacturing and big box national chain warehouse and both rail and trucking distribution hubs.
